Myth: Process Service is Dramatic and Packed with Drama

More television and movie based misinformation!  The Process Server running down alleys and jumping over fences, dodging bullets from the person being served!  Yes, it makes for dramatic television!  No, it really doesn’t happen that way.

Naturally, there are times when process service has to deal with someone under stress, emotional, and sometimes hard to find.

For the most part though, process servers are met with understating and respect.  Process servers are doing their part in the legal process.  They are not the ones suing the recipient, they are simply delivering the subpoena.  Without due process, your right to your day in court might not happen.
